Greenville University Center

Located in Greenville, South Carolina, the University Center of Greenville is a state-of-the-art teaching and learning center designed to serve the needs of working adults who want to pursue four year graduate-level degrees, but without having to leave Greenville County. Most courses are offered in the evenings, for the convenience of working adults. Some daytime and weekend classes are also available.

Seven senior institutions are members in the University Center's consortium; Clemson, Furman, Lander, MUSC, SC State, USC, and USCS. Our neighbor, Greenville Tech is also a member.

The Center offers more than 600 courses in forty-five graduate and undergraduate degree programs. Degree programs include accounting, computer science, communication, teacher education, hotel/restaurant/tourism administration, human resources development, information management, nursing, business administration, graphic design, psychology/sociology, social work, interdisciplinary studies, health sciences, health administration, engineering, engineering technology, political science, and library and information science.

There is one joint degree program: the Clemson-USC Master of Public Administration. Both universities' names appear on the diploma of each graduate.

All courses offered at the Center are taught by faculty from the participating colleges and universities. Classes are offered during evening and week-end hours for the convenience of working adults; day classes are also available including the USCS B.A. degrees in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.
