Fellowships
Graduate Student Fellowships
The Clemson Graduate School has tremendous confidence in the academic and research capabilities of our students. We believe our graduate students are and can be highly competitive for national fellowship awards, and we encourage them to apply for these awards. To make the process easier and to help you submit top quality fellowship applications, the Graduate School is providing a variety of tools, resources, and incentives.
Tools: Help in Finding Fellowships
The Graduate School has developed a searchable database that identifies some of the major Federal and private foundation graduate fellowships or other awards for graduate students. Feel free to browse the database by clicking on the link below:

Fellowship Database
**Note: Entries are still in the process of being added. If you can't find what you are looking for in the database, try the tables below.
- Federal and Foundation Fellowship and Awards listed by month in which application has been historically due. See caveat below.
- Major Federal Fellowship Awards.
- Major Fellowship Awards which do not require U.S. citizenship see caveat below.
The information in these tables was accurate at the time the tables were created (up to 2 years ago) but deadlines and web addresses often change from one year to the next. If you find a program and want to learn more about it, you should go directly to the program's web page for the most current and accurate information. If a link does not work, enter the foundation name and fellowship program into a search engine to find the current web address. As we develop the database, we expect to keep these tables current.
